New Books Network

The New Books Network is a consortium of author-interview podcast channels dedicated to raising the level of public discourse by introducing scholars and other serious writers to a wide public via new media. These are conversations with urban scholars about their recent work. It’s a great way for them and the section to publicize our discipline’s contributions.

Linked here are interviews with urban-related authors. They include episodes hosted by Richard E. Ocejo editor of City & Community, professor of sociology at John Jay College and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).

In addition, City & Community author and CUSS member Anna Zhelnina has also started conducting these interviews under this collaboration.
