Understanding the Urban Sociology Landscape

Ever wonder if the scope of your paper is a good fit for an urban sociology journal? Ever consider who might be reviewing your paper? Have you thought about current gaps in the urban sociology literature you could be filling? A better understanding of “what is urban sociology?” and the urban sociology landscape may help scholars appropriately place their manuscripts and craft their engagement with other scholars in this space. From discussing the difference between urban sociology and other disciplines (urban studies, non-urban sociology, etc.) to the current trends in the literature, we invite you to join Richard Ocejo, editor of City & Community, for a virtual information session on the urban sociology landscape. All scholars (especially students!) are welcome to join.

Note: Registration is required and this event will not be recorded.
